 High End without the Big Price Tag! |

First of all, I am blown away by your fast shipping! My impression, even from the box, was that of high-end design. (Maybe it was that the Keekaroo logo and name are similar to that on the Bugaboo packaging?) Regardless, even if someone were to associate the name with Bugaboo, that would be a very positive mental link. I unpacked and assembled the entire stroller in 5 minutes, without consulting the manual.
My initial impressions were "Wow." The quality of the fabrics, the sturdiness of the metal & frame, the size of the wheels struck me instantly. My next thought was, "How are they charging under $200 for this Keekaroo stroller, when it is nicer than any Maclaren I've ever seen?!" (With Maclaren charging more than 2x what you are).
I LOVE the handle height, as will my husband who is 6'4". I love that the child sits much higher than a Maclaren, so the child is easier for Mom & Dad to reach. (Have you ever tried to pull a Maclaren up to a dining table of any sort?!?) I actually had to use my son's old Maclaren this morning while I took my daughter to the mall when he was at school . . . I can't wait to go again with my new Keekaroo Karoo!
I love the braking mechanism -- so much sturdier and easier than the Maclaren "each wheel" lever, which is really tricky to catch when you are in a hurry. The front-wheel position lock mechanisms were also very easy, though a bit sticky out of the box. The suspension is something that the lower-end Maclarens' (which retail for more than yours) do not even have, I believe.
I am also VERY impressed by the seat recline -- most umbrella strollers are strings or a weak center bar, which I was never convinced would hold. This seat will clearly hold in position. The seat itself is large and roomy. My 3.5 year old took a quick ride and there was PLENTY of space for him. This stroller would actually be a great option for an older child who's gotten tired walking at Disney World, the mall, etc. The seat itself is also remarkably "cushiony" for a lightweight stroller.
All in all, what can I say? I would expect to pay between $[...] for this stroller, compared with all the other strollers we've owned. This is much better.

I have nothing but good things to say about this stroller. I originally bought an expensive travel system, but as our baby got older and could sit up, I wanted something easier to haul around for quick trips to the mall, etc. This stroller is so good, it lives in my car and I very rarely use our main stroller anymore, even for longer trips.
It folds down flat (is quite long folded but should still fit in most trunks without trouble), is easy to open and fold, and best of all, our baby seems very content in it.
The seat is nice and deep so his legs (at 7 1/2 months old) are mostly straight out in front of him, which he seems to like.
The buckle on the 5 point harness looks a bit mickey mouse, but works just fine, and the harness keeps him secure.
The suspension is great...smooth across bumpy cracked parking lots.
For a lightweight, it's comfortable to push -- I'm tall (5' 11") and I have to hunch just a bit, but much less than I would with any other umbrella-style stroller. I've never kicked the wheels.
The gear basket is a decent size and the accessories pocket on the back is perfect for keys, phone, sunglasses and a small wallet.
Great sun canopy -- we have a lot of sun here so that was important.
I couldn't be happier with this stroller. I was nervous when I bought it because there weren't many reviews yet, but I am so glad I took a chance on it. It really is great value for money. It also looks good -- I've had a few compliments on it. |

| I was looking for a higher end umbrella stroller to use for my daughter at Disney. I knew we'd be walking a lot and out for extended periods each day, so my daughter, who is 1, her comfort was key. We received a Chicco stroller as a shower gift, but I didn't feel that it would be as comfortable for her, because it lacked back and leg support. I looked at what seemed like a million strollers and I thought I'd never find one that I liked and met all of my criteria. A week before our trip I found this stroller on Amazon. It's easy to put up and take down. It maneuvers wonderfully, as I was able to steer with one hand. It is extremely roomy, has three recline positions, along with a great padded head pillow, and covered straps. It also has a nice size bottom basket, which is a bit of a challenge to access when fully reclined, but for me that wasn't a significant issue. May daughter was able to comfortably take her naps in the recline position and take in the sites while awake in the upright position. It's an all around great stroller, great price, and I love the color. This stroller met and exceeded my expectations. My daughter was able to ride in style and comfort. |

Keekaroo Karoo Stroller - Lilac Mist I bought this because we are going on a long trip and I didn't want to take a big bulky stroller. I couldn't have asked for more for my money. The colors are beautiful, choclate brown and lilac pink. It has shocks that cushion the ride and swivle easily. I was able to push the stroller with one hand through grass as the baby slept without being jarred.
The fabric is excellent and top quality. The pillow is covered in a mesh and there is a esh insert behind the baby's back and bottom to keep her cool. The frame is extremely sturdy. It was very easy to put together. I'm 5'4" and didn't kick it as I walked.
Two things that I don't like but are not unusual for umbrella strollers are no cup holders and the powder coating does scratch.
Lately, my daughter, who is nearly 3, has not been sleeping in her stroller and always wanted to climb out. She slept in this one for over 2 hours while we were at a noisy event. I wish I had seen this stroller years ago. |

We got this stroller yesterday and we are very impressed with the quality and all the features. It was very easy to set up, just removing packaging material, snapping two front wheels and releasing the brakes once snapped in place. I'm so glad we purchased this stroller. It was very affordable without compromising on quality. We took it for a test drive with our 18 month old daughter this morning. She seemed very content and comfortable. We took a trip to a local Starbucks (about 15 minute walk each way). On our way back, she fell asleep. When I pushed down on recline release buttons, it gradually reclined without making jerking motion (very smooth).
The shocks on the wheels worked great during our test drive. The stroller looks beautiful like very high end brands. I also like the fact that the leg rest is much longer than other similar type strollers. The handle bars are little too high for my height (5'-04"), but it was perfect for my husband (6'-00"). The basket is bigger than I expected (not big enough to put a bulky diaper bag, but big enough to put a purse, baby's snacks, a few toys, blankets. We hung our diaper bag around the handle bars and it worked out great. The headrest and the bottom sitting area are made with breathable mesh fabric.
I would highly recommend this stroller. We have two other strollers, Silver Cross Classic Sleepover and Sit n Stroll. We initially got this stroller for our upcoming Disney World trip. We love our Silver Cross stroller and Sit n Stroll, but we were looking for something more portable and light weight but still provide a comfortable ride for our daughter during our trip. We found the right stroller. Even though we purchased this stroller for the Disney World trip, we're going to pack away our Silver Cross and use Kekaroo for our daily use from now on. |
